Vivek Shah is the Managing Director and Co-Head of Investment Banking at Haitong Securities in India, which is one of the largest Asian Investment Banks and has a strong focus on the Financials, Fintech and PE/VC sponsor segment in India.

Vivek has extensive experience in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital fundraise and initial public offerings in India.

His focus on FIG, Fintech, Impact and Tech sector coverage has led him to be well-versed in these industries and specialize in working with startup clients in these sectors.

Vivek has 10+ years of experience as an angel investor and entrepreneur and ran his own men’s fashion e-commerce startup Fetise.com before starting Haitong IB in April 2013.

He is an angel investor in various new-age startups such as Zyla Health, Onsurity InsureTech, Peepul Tree and others

Vivek Shah is a CA and MBA from FMS Delhi. He has worked across Citi Bank, ICICI Securities and JPM Morgan Investment Bank before starting Haitong IB in India in April 2013.
